Lake Tahoe photographer Jim Budny -”JB” to all his friends - has been
creating fine art photography professionally since 1998. His artwork
has been shown extensively in the Tahoe area, and is widely held in
private collections here and abroad. His background includes instruction
by Russell Dudley at Sierra College, and studies at the University of
Nevada Reno under Professor Peter Goin. JB’s work has been featured
numerous times in publications such as the Tahoe World, the Weekly,
Tahoe Quarterly magazine, and California Home & Design. The image
“Fall into Winter” was selected by the Ritz-Carlton for the guest rooms
at their new Northstar-at Tahoe property.
